Nushell is a modern command language and shell built around structured data. Instead of treating every pipeline as unstructured text, Nu passes typed values such as records, lists, tables, durations, file sizes, dates and binary data between commands, making filtering and transformation concise and inspectable.
CompileBytes runs Nushell 0.114.1 in an isolated hosted runtime with configuration files disabled for reproducible results. The main.nu single-file scratchpad supports structured pipelines, standard input and typed command-line arguments; optional plugins, persistent files, local configuration and outbound network access are unavailable.
main.nu is the entry point for each run.
Use the Input panel to pipe standard input to your program when it needs data.
Run sends your code to a fresh hosted runtime and streams the result into the output panel.
