jq is a command-line language for selecting, transforming, constructing, and reducing JSON. Filters compose with pipes, work over streams of values, and include array and object operations, recursion, variables, functions, conditionals, and error handling.
CompileBytes runs jq 1.7.1 as jq -n -f main.jq in an isolated hosted runtime. The -n flag starts with null instead of implicitly reading stdin, which makes self-contained filters easy to run. Use input or inputs when you want the filter to consume JSON values from the stdin panel. Files, modules, and network requests are unavailable.
main.jq is the entry point for each run.
Use the Input panel to pipe standard input to your program when it needs data.
